In this exercise I've tried using different media, especially those I'm not used to (fine-liners, coloured fine-liners, acrylic paint) and using those I've tried to make the image more interesting. With the jar and coloured stars, I've tried to work with different pressure and crosshatching of the hands to resemble shadows and the part of the hand that is behing the jar, while the coloured stars are the one thing that pops out with the colour.
In the travel mug one, I wanted to work with acrylic to emphasize the gold part of the cup. And while the hand colour is very exaggerated I am kind of happy with how it works out.
The next ones are me working with more familiar medias, coloured pencils, graphite and charcoal pencils.
